I love writing. Everything about it. Except sometimes I have the most miserable time coming up with fictional names for people, places and things. I realized a long time ago that name generators were my friends.
I have a few helpful generators that are my go-to. I keep them in my writer’s toolbox! Random name generators for fiction writers have unstuck me from those annoying blockages I get when coming up with naming stuff. A word of warning, you can get sucked into the dark hole of randomizer button refreshing.
I originally posted an article similar to this on my poor dead blog, and based on how much traffic it still gets, I’ve decided to bring it out from the archives, dust it off, give it a new dress, and bring it here to Medium.
